Department Biostatistics
Essential Function
The Biostatistician I works under the supervision of an experienced
biostatistician and/or programmer to assist in the production of statistical
reports and the programming of tables, listings and figures.
Relationships
Reports To Associate Manager, Biostatistics or above
Directly Supervises Not Applicable
Provides Work Direction to Not Applicable
Works Closely with Asia Head, Statisticians, and Statistical Programmer
Analysts
External Relationships Clients
Key Accountabilities
• Receive trainings from in-house and sponsor
• Produce simple tables, figures, data listings, and other
deliverables based on sponsor’s requests
• Review and provide input on protocol, CRF, SAP, SPS, and other
documents
• Creates derived data sets and perform prototype runs
• Prepare SAP and SPS under close supervision
• Check own work in an ongoing way to ensure first-time quality
• Prepare the validation program for cross-checking peer’s work
• Follow client’s standards and requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Education
• Master or above in Biostatistics or another relevant discipline
Language Skills
• Good English communication skills essential
