Title: Lead Process Engineer
Position Summary
A fortune 500 company has an immediate requirement in our Suzhou plant
for a talented and motivated Process Engineer. This position will play
a key role in technical/operational support with respect to materials,
equipment and interactions with R&D engineering team on a new system start-
up for inkjet (additive manufacturing) production process.
Suitable candidates should have a strong technical background, hands-on
experience in the area of production inkjet printing and/or additive
manufacturing, and have a track record of successfully implementing process
improvements.
the selected candidate will be given around three months
training in Chicago, and then work at suzhou, china office. Business trip
may have base on project needs.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate local technical requirements,
manage critical vendors (materials and support equipment), support systems
integration activities and new installation site work to ensure key project
milestones/deliverables are met during installation and start-up phase.
• Post installation, provide ongoing technical
leadership for inline inkjet/additive manufacturing process, act as liaison
between operations and engineering team.
• Provides vision, guidance and strong judgment
and solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the
manufacturing process.
• Performs other related duties and
participates in special projects as assigned.
Job Knowledge & Skills
• Hands-on manufacturing experience in area of
production inkjet printing. Additional experience in additive
manufacturing (DMLS, SLA, Aerosol Jetting) a plus.
• Bachelor’s (BS) degree in engineering (
mechanical, electrical or manufacturing) with 5+ years experience; OR
demonstrated ability to meet job requirements through a comparable number of
years of applicable work experience.
• Knowledge in areas of digital (inkjet)
printing technologies, as well as substrate handling and finishing
technologies
• Employ analytical thinking and problem
solving in completing assignments that are diverse and complex in nature.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal
skills with the ability to work with various groups of employees and
managers across departments, both individually and in team settings - Dual
language abilities required (local and fluency in English)
• Familiarity in multi-shift volume production
environment.
• Solid foundation in engineering concepts a
plus
Knowledge of printing techniques (screen, flexographic, digital, spray
coating) a plus |
