The position will support the Back and Middle office technology initiatives
utilizing MS SQL Server back end and C# .NET front end solutions. The ideal
candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of application and database
development experience within the financial sector. Additionally the
candidate should have a working knowledge of securities trading life cycle
and be conversant with the processes involved in taking a trade from
security set up through trade settlement.
Operational development; application, data feeds, trade feeds,
reconciliation feeds
Middle and Back office database administration; development,
configuration, upgrade, monitoring and maintenance
Program and maintain trade information data via straight through
processing
Monitor and review all operational data that flows to firm via automated
processes
Overnight processing of Middle/Back office application data
Development and maintenance of various internal reconciliations,
applications and reporting as required by middle/back office operations,
portfolio finance, investor relations, compliance
Develop and maintain internal investor accounting system
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements
for development.
Provide post implementation support to include: monitoring application
performance and debugging existing code when required.
Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by
producing testable code.
Continuously expand industry and technical knowledge. |
