Responsibilities
· Supervise a Nanjing, China-based department of PhDs and staff
scientists to deliver results according to plans and milestones agreed upon
by customers.
· Lead cross-functional projects, and deliver regular updates,
certificate of analysis, and final reports according to the specifications
of customers.
· Serve as spokesperson in both business and scientific
communications with customers.
· Coach and develop lab personnel to upgrade capability and
communication skills.
· Develop and acquire new technologies to upgrade lab capability.
· Develop streamlined operation to raise efficiency and minimize
the cost.
· Work with Marketing and Sales colleagues to develop business
strategy.
Qualifications
· PhD with 1-3 postdoctoral training in molecular biology,
immunology, or related fields, plus 5-10 years of work experience in
discovery research of therapeutic proteins; industrial experience preferred
· In-depth understanding of phage display, antibody humanization
and so on.
· Proven leadership with record of results delivery by publications
and/or patents
· Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in
English and Mandarin
· Strong organizing skills and ability of tracking multiple
projects
· Creative thinking, goal-driven, and time-awareness
