It depends on:
a. the CDROM you are using to extract the audio tracks. Some
CDROMs have a Digital Extracting function, such as those SCSI
interfaced ones and most of the CD-Writers(they actually act as
SCSI devices though working under IDE bus). Those without the
function may somewhat generate unbearable noise/spikes.
b. Your aural sensibility. If you are very sensible to the
timbre difference and/or particularly fond of grand orchestral
