A long story, many elements of the tragedy are still relevant today.
1. Police corruption and standby to let mobs do their dirty deeds

4. mob violence,
5. wealth envy, long running tension, distrust and segregation of
communities
6. internal Chinese factions,
7. unjust laws that created a lot of hidden problems in Chinese community
who are not used to fighting them above board, see the case of a man
arrested for violating the ban on exporting chips to China (which is ok to
export to a lot of countries, but not China). People all over the world
dream of exploring space, why are the Chinese not allowed to peacefully
explore space?
8. underrepresentation of Chinese-Americans in the PR machine
There were also bright spot (Sheriff James Burns and other bystanders and
