out
1. (Time Sensitive) 很多选区现在正在忙选举。 请帮为我们说话的Candidates,

People anywhere should look up the local Asian American politicians and
start to reach out and help out.
Put campaign bumper stickers on cars and send out vote reminders to local
school and business groups in their behalf. Help them distribute fliers
and hold voter registration drives in their core constituency
2. Please help organize mainstream media reports of this incident and
rallies:

Share the incident with abandon. Keep the pressure on Disney.
This incident is still barely acknowledged in the main stream media. We
need Disney's public and resounding rejection of the race-baiting and race-
scapegoating tactics and genocidal "entertainment" material in the Jimmy
Kimmel's show. More of this passive aggressive mumbo jumbo "we are sorry
you can't take a joke" apology, it would just be business as usual after the
hew and cry dies down.
3. Organize lawsuits against Disney. The local Law school should have lots
of resources.
4. Please participate in boycotts against Disney. Ask to refund everything
, hotel reservations, season tickets, tickets to shows, premium cable
channels (canceled), cruises, hold off watching Disney's movies (Iron man
III). Pass the message to our Chinese friends.
Order your own bumper sticker with "Disney thinks Race-Baiting=Funny" and
other slogans like "boycott disney", "Disney thinks Kids killing = Funny".

Go on Facebook, Twitter, G+, and weibo. Share with abandon.

5. Participate in local community, political and Chinese community events.
Look to make more friends than enemies. 求同存异,维护共同利益。
Cooperate again and again. Find local leaders to advance the common
interest.
Chinese-American politicians need a lot of support going from lowest levels
of school board position, council member to mayor or state legislature to
national politics. The journey is incredibly arduous and full of pitfalls.
Many people walked off in different directions,
getting better pay, or making wrong alliance choices, or making bad choices.
Our culture does not provide the proper support. We are easily divided
and somewhat apathetic.
We are a generation of lone wolfs, scarred by the cultural revolution. We
came to this land of wolf packs, now it's time to form packs and exercise
our rights and obligations. |
