发帖数: 148 | 1 偶然发现土木版，激动的奔进来，一看，心一下子哇凉哇凉的，本来想着娃大点，
明年开始找工作呢，现在感觉太难了。
本人背景：港大phd毕业，岩土工程方向，国内工作经验5年，但是在国内做项目管
理多些，很少具体去做设计。
来美两年没工作，在家生娃带娃，现打算考个PE,不知道对找工作帮助大吗？我这
种背景在美找到工作的机会大吗？

how good/bad the job is and whether it's acceptable to you.
just curious.. why don't stay in HK ? I heard geotech job in HK seems not
that bad.. |

发帖数: 629 | 4 Yes, PE will help you for sure. It will be pretty easy for you to find a job
with experience (even it is in China), PE and GC.
I had a friend in geotech field went back to HK as he told me being a
geotech engineer is not bad in HK. |

better offer when I was graduated. Now I have to come to USA because my
husband worked here. Actually, I want to go back China. :(

发帖数: 148 | 6 Thanks.. I have no PE and GC. Being a geotechnical engineer in mainland is
much better in HK. The Salary in USA is too low.

估计也是这个原因楼主不愿意吧
