bridge section didn't fail shear-wise either. These tell us that the bridge
actually can carry the alleged 500 ton load(which means the safety factor
in
structrual design is indeed fairy high) if, the connection is enough to
resist the torsional effect due to eccentrity of vehicle load. This is the
lesson to be learned from this accident. | l*******G
发帖数: 1191 | 2 problem is the eccentricity load， the supporting column/pilar is not wide
enough to withstand the torque sidways/transverse 。Should be just static
instability issue and not even dynamic. What a shame! |
