Assistantship (GRA) openings are immediately available at Dr. Fan’s
research group for highly motivated individuals who can join in Fall
2011 or Spring 2012 at The University of Texas at Tyler. You are
expected to work with an active team on very exciting
transportation/traffic safety/pavement/fleet operations research topics.
Basic requirements: B.S. degree in Civil, Transportation or other
engineering by the enrollment time and strong interest and commitment on
pursuing the graduate degree on transportation engineering. Previous
experience with (1) traffic safety study, (2) traffic operations,
planning and optimization, (3) network modeling, (4) statistical
analysis, and/or (5) pavement materials and design, is strongly
preferred. If you are interested, please send your resume and include
your GRE and TOEFL scores (for Intl’ applicants) if any directly to Dr.
