标 题: 我也贡献一点点感想（下）

昨天本来只是想说几句的，结果一写写了很多，写不完，今天接着往下写吧。
插一句，今天上来看到很多人给我写信，信都写得好长，真的是不好意思，没法仔细回
，看慢慢的如果有时间，给你们回信吧。
昨天说了技术类和咨询类里博士的机会，现在说说IB和法律。
其实入行IB的方式有很多，比较typical的是本科毕业去做analyst，在曼哈顿过几年幸
苦的生活，有了点经验和经济资本，去读个MBA，然后在回来飞黄腾达。另外的，有做M
&A的律师，IB是他们比较常见的exit strategy，好像IB里著名的G，现在的头就是律师
出身的，其他做金融管理类咨询的也有转去IB。但其中对拥有技术背景的中国学生显得
最现实的是以quant及其相关的一些职位作为入门的跳板。有很多有数学，工程或者计
算机背景的去读MFE，也有些人不愿意投资MFE的，就找些IB里的IT职位， | c**k

发帖数: 319 | 7 Ok, many of them are in safety area, using SAS all the time. And they took a
lot system engineering courses. They planned it before they start their
study in US. It is very competitive for the jobs in financial area. Most
Indian students have excellent communication skill, very well written
resumes, they are trying to compete with US students. If you are tall and
good looking, it will be great advantage in IB jobs.
Actually even one Chinese girl got financial job by MS in civil engineering.

我觉得老印那种顽强向上爬的精神值得学习。
俺们老中脑子太死了，只知道学习，发PAPER，COMMUNICATION是个大问题。

发帖数: 319 | 11 unfortunately, that Indian guy who went to IB is tall and good looking. The
other two are at least pleasant looking. Their presentation skill is amazing
, I have to admit that I am not that good. maybe I don't know enough Indian
students, I hardly see any indian nerds, they are all very agreesive.
I have a friend who works in a famous software company, he helped to recruit
this year, he even recommended several Chinese students. The big boss said
one sentence:" They are ok, but communication is

俺们这CIVIL的, 几个INDIAN GUYS 都去银行或者转到金融专业了,
中国同胞都在搞PHD,弄PAPER,钻研精神令鬼神泣

improve it? it is not expensive and the time schedule is very flexible.
