打算在加州考，还有seismic和land develop。
以前Master就是学Seismic，应该不会有什么问题，
但是land develop看了几眼，觉得比较吃力。。。
而且9月底可能还要买房子搬家。。。
时间好像有点紧。。
问题是2008年四月份估计building code要改，又要买一堆书，郁闷啊。。
有没有考过的前辈们指点一下？
离报名deadline没几天了，犹豫不决。 | y*****o

know ... buying a house is a lot of research, work and time.
i personally don't recommend that you take the oct pe exam. your comapany
don't have the reference books? i didn't buy any.

My company has some books, but it's old version
plus the books are for PE structural.
Well, it's get complicated,
california don't have PE-structural exam,
so you have to take PE-civil to get PE license.
And PE-civil covers structural, geo, transportation etc, it's just too broad.
While in some other States,
like in Georgia, If you pass PE-structural Exam, which covers only
structural parts,you will get a PE license. Sound like more easy for a
structural major.

years, but the contents seldomly change significantly. my suggestion is don'
t spend that kind of money, just use the older versions. even if you lack of
one of two reference books, you still can pass ...
my 0.1 cent, hehe.

第一天的考试是和第二天上午的Seismic，下午的 Surveying 分开计分的。你如果时间
紧迫，可以重点复习其中的一两门。考过一门算一门，下次就不用再考了。
