culture. i don't know much about either one of them, but i support them
deeply from my heart. I know clearly that they are as strong as before, or
not as strong compare to western weapons and medicine in some ways, but you
can't deny that they are precious to all Chinese people. |

What I am against, is the thining style or methodology that is fully
reflected in our traditional chinsemed.
If you look at "evidence" of how chinesemed are effective, most, if not all,
are subjective fairy tales, which essentially have no difference from 宗教
见证。
I believe the same "thinking style" is what constrained our civilization
from the very beginning, or, let's just say, dominated our civilization and
prevented us from bein |

我要说的是，中医不只“just some drugs work”， 它的很多养生理念和按摩，针
灸都是很有用的。 你反对它的thinking， 但是不能反对它的作用。我觉得现代人相信
中医已经不去看重那些关于中药的来历和传说， 而是看中药效。你们argue 的主题和
方式都非常学术。我没有任何medical background, 所以我是以一个老百姓的心态来说
来问。 什么有用，什么好。 对我来说，中医比较温和而且和生活及大自然的联系比较
密切。比如说我自己的例子，我有多囊卵巢综合征，在美国看好几次不同的医院，国内
也看过西医，给我的都是避孕药把每个月例假催出来。这样是很伤身体的。看中医，一
个中医世家的老医生给我开10天的中药，并且严格我的饮食，我例假就正常了好一整子
。后来回美国就没回去再拿药。例假又不正常。。。 西医在我看来和中医完全不同。
但它们不是对立关系的。并不是中医好，西医就不好。 |

1. How would you know there is no contraceptive in the "chinesemed" you got?
What is the dose?
2. If it works, should we go after on exactly how it works? Why it works?
How do we prove that it works in general instead of this single experience?
3. It is a single case, if you have a large population, how can you draw the
conclusion that the drug works generally?
4. QC on the drug, is it replicable?
5. The "common sense" merits in chinesemed is not unique at a |

发帖数: 71 | 10 我说过我本身没有任何medical background, 所以我没有办法完全回答你的问题。
但是，你提的问题让我想起一点： 当我吃西医给的避孕药的时候，我必须连续吃，如
果中间断了一个月，那么我下个月就不正常。所以我必须坚持吃三次要才能保证三个月
的正常经期。但是在中医那里我只吃了10天要，它却made it work for 3 months. 我
不相信有任何避孕药能够维持3个月那么久。。。那样很多女人就不要那么痛苦了。
另外，政府投资在中医研究项目的钱比其他的要少。现在不能去证明它WORK不代表以后
也不行。 而且如果要研究中药在人体内的效果和how it works， 就需要活人体。我不
认为用尸体和解剖可以来验证。
现在很多女性患有这种病， 但是大部分是在欧美国家。中国相对来说少得多。所以你
的第三点我没办法给你conclusion．
