nothing to do with author.
Even you accumulate over 1,000 individual cases, it doesn't mean you have
sufficnet proof to overule Christianity from the base. Morover, these examples
seem really weak to me.

江山的时候,当你看到周围的中国人对你家的灾难无动于衷

No! If you believe some religion, you should believe it is the Truth. You
should ask your heart whether it is truth. If your heart tells you it is, hold
it. There is completely nuts that you say the church is helpful. Yes, it may
be. But this should not be the reason that you convert to some religion. The
only reason should be you believe it is the Truth.

society. Yasser Arafat's wife is christian but he is muslim. So what?
The fundamental problem of chinese society is its conservaeness. Chinese
christians are the most conservative ones. Just ask a chinese christian,
whether you regard evolution as truth. They will say not. Ask him whether
women have rights for abortion. He will say no. So, see, how convervative are
they. Well, they are fundamentalist!!!

发帖数: 101 | 7 某些出国后半路出家的人比较极端, 可能是非极端不足以坚定信念罢.
如果在进化论这种大是大非的问题上有所含糊, 那恐怕很难说服自己
改变宗教信仰了罢. 当然, 对教会另有所图的就别提了.
另外, 美国华人的教堂一般是什么教派的? 特别是CA, OR华人比较多
的地方. 我见过华人的天主教堂, 其他的从招牌上看不出来, 只写着
...华人教堂, 没注意英文是什么, 倒是见过有些韩国人的教堂的名称
是church of bible, church of jesus christ ... 似乎不同教派
在很多问题上的观点大相径庭, 天主教是公认的保守, 不知道其他美国
新教的主要派别怎样. 我只知道baptist是浸礼会, 像什么教友会,
长老会的英文名称是什么?

我相信这个世界上大多数人都是这样的.
我不认为对大多数人来说有绝对的信仰.

later after arriving there. Once I asked him the reason in MSN becasue he
never show any interest in region or those abstract things before. He said
there are young ladies and job chances.
He was serious, he got an offer from some "jiao you" several weeks later.
