My comment:
(a) Ft allows ten free viewing of reports a month, after registration.
Somehow this report does not require registration. So enjoy it while it
lasts.
(b) In the print, there is an illustration of two panels.

$4,500bn Bank deposits by Chinese households

(c) The anatomy of China's inflation unequivocally points to Beijing itself;
quantitive easing QE2 has little to do with China's inflation so far (there
should be in the futute, though). Chinese are too rich, have too much money
, and in theory and history, overflow of money invariably brings about
inflation.
