Here is reason:
Chicago has passionate supporters, but residents must endure the misery of
long commutes, plummeting home prices, brutal winters and high foreclosure
rates. The migration rate out of Chicago is the sixth worst among the 200
largest metros
My own comment:
Politician, or maybe just the Democratic, is destroying IL, increasing
state taxes, high sales taxes, government corruption, deficit..... Only CA'
s financial situation is worse than IL.
Illinois out migration ranking was #1 among 48 states in 2011 when the 2%
increase in state tax took effect and #2 in 2012.
