我想先统计一下有意买routan的朋友,看看能不能再多砍一点价格
有一点就是ysp0088和我都不在chicago,也没有和dealer打过交道,其实最开始是想跟

This is their reply:
At this point only the GM can authorize a price below what I quoted and that
is definitely something that he would only do face to face. Honestly, we
know you're shopping every dealer and any offer we put in writing you're
going to take to another dealership so they can beat it. Its definitely a
way to get a great price, but at a certain point it comes to an end and you
have to pick one dealer. We have no intention of losing your business and we
will do whatever it takes to make sure you know that when you leave we gave
you the best deal possible.
I'm not sure if you've ever been to Beijing and to Yashao market nea San
Dian San and San Li Tun, but I've done my fair share of negotiating there. I
've negotiated a price, then asked for 5 kuai less just to see if I could
get it and if they said no I walked away. Sometimes they'd call me back and
make the sale. Sometimes I'd have to keep walking because my final price was
too low.
Suffice it to say that we won't let you walk away. You will get the deal you
want if you come to Fletcher Jones. |

As far as why I can't put a better offer in writing is that the offer you
received from the other dealer is actually well below what we actually paid
for the car. Honestly its already an amazing deal. In the three years I've
been in this business I've only ever seen numbers that low a few times.
The first number I gave you was what I actually own the car for. What I was
offering is an amazing deal. I agree that it would be easier if there was a
straight forward way for the dealer/customer relationship to work, but the
way its currently set up there is no fixed price and thus a customer who is
savvy will shop any number given to them. Case in point: I offered you the
car for what I paid for it, and even that was higher than what someone else
offered.
The thing is, we go for volume numbers as well as just per car profit. For
one customer to get an incredible deal that's at or below dealer cost,
someone else has to pay retail or else we wouldn't be in business. In
extreme cases I am authorized to give a discount of about $300 under dealer
cost. This is normally at the end of the month when we're striving to be the
#1 volume dealer in the area. The kind of discount you are seeking is the
kind of discount that we cannot give without a commitment. It makes no sense
for us to offer a car at so far below cost only to have another dealer beat
the price by a small margin. Even if you were to take our price and go to
another dealer and after protracted negotiations they only agree to match
the deal - if you are tired of the shopping process and just want a new car
and to go home you might even let them just match it, or even pay a little
more just to have the whole process be over with.
When it comes to doing business, we are not one of the stores that play
games or give you hassles, add dealer fees, make up charges, etc. We're not,
to put it bluntly, an Autobarn store. There are others like them too. I'm
certain that if you come in to the dealer our GM will make sure that you get
the deal you want, but you have to be here so he knows he actually has a
chance at the sale. |
