Suburban Scholars Teacher Education Partnership (S-STEP) Orientation
for MAT Secondary Education
The Secondary Education Department is launching this initiative in response
to the national need to prepare superior suburban teachers. Our S-Step
scholars will be matched with expert mentor teachers at Evanston Township
High School (ETHS), allowing them to apply and strengthen their
instructional skills by working with students over the course of a full
school year. The S-Step scholars will apply theory to real-life teaching and
complete the program with a documented set of accomplishments that will set
them apart from their peers when applying for teaching positions.

Place: National Louis University
North Shore/Skokie Campus
5202 Old Orchard Rd, Room 570
Please note that most of the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) certification
courses will meet at ETHS. This opportunity is available to all MAT
Secondary Education students admitted for the Fall 2011 Term.
