An Historical Tour and FREE Lunch!
Welcome to you our Chinese friends! We want to offer you a free tour of the
historical First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, an important part of the
town of Evanston’s landscape.
When:
Saturday, October 30 at 10 AM (Please arrive in front of the church building
10 minutes early prior to the tour. We will start the tour on time.)
Where:
First Presbyterian Church of Evanston

What:
A guided tour in English with American tour guides.
Come see this beautiful historical building in your neighborhood. Learn the
importance of the church in American history and culture, and specifically
the story of this church family.
Special Feature of the Building:
It was designed by a famous American architect Daniel H. Burnham, who
designed the famous Flatiron Building in New York City, Union Station in
Washington D.C and Chicago's Lakefront.
A free Chinese lunch will be provided after the tour so that you may meet
more American friends and learn more about American culture. You can even
get some practice LISTENING AND SPEAKING English!
Why? So that we may become friends! You may want to participate in other
activities that we will offer.
IMPORTANT! So that we may prepare well, you must reserve a seat for the
luncheon.
