- Saturday night: dinner at some local restaurant and sleep in the hotel.
- Sunday morning: drive to and tour Tahquamenon Falls.
- Sunday afternoon: FREE TIME.
- Sunday night: arrive home [late].

发帖数: 1828 | 3 some suggested we take the 2pm Spray Falls Cruise instead of the
Sunset one at 5:30pm, because it might be too cold over the lake. The
cruise takes about 2hour 50 min. Also we might be too hungry on the
boat by then.
If that's the case, we can combine our group with YJ's group,
which makes it already much more than 20. It also means that we save
200+ dollars!
What do you think? Let me know. Otherwise, I may call to reschedule
our cruise today or tomorrow.

发帖数: 1828 | 4 Just rescheduled the cruise. It's Saturday 2pm Cruise includes Spray Falls.
Please adjust your plan accordingly.
I reserved 30 seats on the cruise. However, they asked me to call them back
and give them an exact number. So if you are planning to take the cruise
with our group, please let me know asap. It is $25 for a group rate,
otherwise it's $35. (Personally I recommend taking it. You may regret if
going there without taking the cruise!)

the leaves are red only for that few days.

发帖数: 1828 | 12 根据我上次去的经验，应该不会。现在只是moderate color。我们去的时候应该刚好是
peak，at most a little after peak，应该会很壮阔。
即使过了peak，我们也有backup plan：我们是绕湖一周，从密歇根下岛回来的路上，
还有无数的红叶名胜，比如petoskey, boyne city, traverse city, deamans hill,
st joseph, etc.。如果万一真的错过了，下岛还是可以看到的。这样旅程就成了上岛pictured rocks，下岛红叶，也不错啊 呵呵 :-)

10月初带着冬天的JACKET吧，现在已经有人穿了。其他的一年四季都可穿牛仔裤大背心
，带一件HOODY，什么天气都可以应付了。 我住在Houghton附近，天气没法说，20-60
度都有可能。 Copper HARBOR更冷一些。 Lac La Belle很小，是个小湖，和大湖的景
色迥然不同。有一家很小的餐厅，味道不错。现在的红叶已经很好看了。如果带着船来
下水， 会很冷，一定要带保暖的衣服。

us any time you like. however, if you need ride, better let me know before
next wedesday, because that's the date I will send out the final summary and
plan details to all the confirmed guests. of course, the earlier you let me
know, the easier i can find you a carpool.

个叫Munising的小镇上，在那里可以坐游轮看 Pictured Rocks,游轮好像到十月份就没
有了.

如果天好可以hiking，再到湖边坐坐。Munising离Tahquamenon瀑布也不远，六十英里
左右。
只是北密游人不多，Hiking的时候很少遇见其他游人(也可能那天下雨)，我们在林中行
走感觉有点阴森森的可怕呢。
去Tahquamenon Falls的时候，一定记得划船（两分钟的路）进中间的小岛去看Lower
Falls，和Upper Fall两种风格，很有味道。 |

may be other people interested to go, because for the lower MI trip, i let
each sub-group decide the route on their own.
