Research, design and develop new technologies that will lead to the
introduction of new products, improve upon existing products and promote the
economic growth of the company
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for development of new products, processes, methods
and formulations
Perform feasibility evaluations and prepare samples
Maintain detailed, accurate and organized batch records
Prepare standards and specifications for processes, products and
test methods
Coordinate scale up of new product and feasibility samples to
production batches
Provide technical support to Production
Prepare technical reports
Produce small production orders, as needed
Evaluate equipment for new product development
Communicate effectively with co-workers, both written and oral
Support safety rules, regulations and policies of the company
Responsibilities may change as needed
Required Skills and Experience
• BS in chemistry or related field required with at least 2 years
industrial chemical experience.
• Experience in Personal Care products is highly desired
