You're cordially to submit a review article for consideration at our new
journal, The Journal of Postdoctoral Research, JPR. JPR has gone live with
many papers published in a range of disciplines. Please check out http://www.postdocjournal.com/jpr.aspx.
As you may be aware, this is an ambitious initiative to develop an iconic
international peer-reviewed publication reflective of the high quality of
postdoctoral contribution to ongoing research in ANY field. The eventual
goal of this initiative is to make this a 'Flagship', open-access, double-
free publication for the ~120k postdoc community, 75% of which works in the
US, spread across 3k universities and research institutions. And many are
excited about this initiative, some even terming it 'a project with a great
potential'. We are committed to making this a prominent publication in the
coming years reflective of postdoctoral work. Citations from the papers
published in JPR are reflected in Google Scholar citations, and so the
papers in JPR are naturally linked to the wealth of publications in any
other prestigious journals. We are also actively seeking to be indexed in
PubMed, PubMed Central, Scopus, and ISI Web of Science. We expect to see JPR
will achieve a reasonably significant impact factor in the years to come,
given the high quality contributions from many outstanding scholars
across the globe.
In short, JPR is:
Fast — ensured rapid review and publication
Free — there is no fee in publishing your paper at JPR
Rigorous — peer review by at least one member of the academic community in
the field
Open — articles are freely available to all, and authors retain copyright
Visible — enhanced browsing and searching to ensure your article is noticed
Global — easy and free access for anyone in any country in the world.
I encourage you to consider this unique opportunity to contribute a review
article in your field of expertise, with a topic of your choice. JPR is
chalked out to be a monthly publication with 12 issues in a year and at
least 10 papers per issue to begin with. All papers were subjected to a
conventional peer-review process and revisions, where required, before
accepting for publication. The submission to acceptance time-frame for a
well written Review is generally less than 6 weeks, and in some case, less
than 3 weeks.
If you're interested, please contact me at c****[email protected] to
receive an official invitation. Thank you for your contributions!
Best Regards,
Zi Chen, Ph.D.
