controversial paper on the total syntheses of hexacyclinol and related
compounds has been retracted (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., DOI: 10.1002/anie.

Editor-in-Chief Peter Gölitz, and publisher Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. |

spectral data synthetic chemists (at least look at the spectrum...with a
huge water peak!). |

let, Org. Let. etc., is highly irreproducible. However, did you look at the
La Clair's paper NMR spectrum? I bet the reviewers didn't even look at it.
I'm not a real chemist, the NMR spectrum from my lab look way better than
that one.
