Benjamin List received his PhD in 1997 from the University of Frankfurt with
J. Mulzer in Germany. After postdoctoral studies at The Scripps Research
Institute in La Jolla, CA in the laboratories of R. A. Lerner, he became an
Assistant Professor there in 1999. In 2003, he moved to the Max-Planck-
