As the QC Lab Manager, you will:
Supervise activities of personnel engaged in performing chemical and
physical tests required for quality control of processes and productsDirect
and advise personnel in special test procedures to analyze components and
physical properties of materialsCollaborate with laboratory personnel to
resolve equipment purchase priorities based on budget allowances, condition
of existing equipment and scheduled laboratory activitiesCompile and analyze
test information to resolve operating efficiency of process or equipment
and to diagnose malfunctionsConfer with scientists or engineers to conduct
analyses, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.Lead the
Laboratory daily workflow processLead and manage the laboratory employees in
maintaining safety, quality and housekeeping standards of the plantDevelop
and implement Laboratory policies and proceduresConduct research, as needed,
to assist developing custom products and investigate complaints on existing
productsUpdate and maintain instrument lists; test methods and SOP
documentation; and corporate specifications within the Labware
DatabasePerforms analytical testing as neededAssists with preparation of
white papers and product change notification data packagesCollaborates with
Technology and Advanced Analytical on new product transfers and method
transfers for all new product scale upDevelop data package for GR&R,
Matching, Correlation studies
Who you are:
Minimum qualifications:
BS in Biology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or other related scientific
subject area7+ years' relevant experienceExperience working in a chemical
analysis laboratory
Preferred qualifications:
MS or PhDPrevious supervisory experienceMust be capable of carrying out team
and self-directed research projects.Must be knowledge of chemical analyses
and Lab processesGood computer skills required (Word, Excel, Outlook, JMP)
Work in a team environment and have good communication skillsMust have
initiative and be self-motivatedGood organization skills |
