Thank you for contacting FreedomPop Online Services. My name is Hazel and I
will be more than happy to assist you with your concern. It is our
understanding that you are disputing the $7.99 charge on your account.
Getting charged for more than what’s expected could be very frustrating.I
would like to let you know what these charges are for. Upon account review,
we found that an error occurred when unsubscribing from the Premium Plus
service on 03-08-2017. This caused a renewal charge of the service.
We have not received a request to downgrade the plan causing the renewal to
be a total of $24.99 for your Premium 2GB LTE Unlimited plan which was part
of your sign up order.
Within the terms of service, if downgrade or deactivation of services at the
conclusion of your free trial is not completed the service will remain
active and automatically renew at the total rate of $24.99. The result of no
action taken prior to the ending of your trial caused the current recurring
charge.
We have found out that the account is suspended due to a failed payment on
the account. We tried to draft a payment for the said plans renewal on 3/15/
17 and 3/21/17 and we were not successful.
