法庭。现在有几个问题：
1. In NC, you can request a Prayer for Judgment Continued (PJC) every three
years. should I request it or wait to use it until some bigger tickets are
given.
2. Can I plea guilty and bargain with the assistant district attorney to
reduce it to a non-moving violation (such as improper equipment) on the
court date? Do I have to find a lawyer to plea not guilty and fight against
it so that it can be reduced to a non-moving violation (such as improper
equipment)? This way there will be no points and the insurance won't
inscrease.
3. Do I need to provide a driving history/record to the assistant district
attorney to show I'm a good driver?
4. Do I need to find a lawyer? I was told this is how the system works: the
lawyer will make the district attorney dismiss the ticket. However, if I
plea not guilty myself, it's usually very difficult. Is this true?
5. Where is community service is usually at, my city or the district
attorney's city? |

第一次最好不用。虽然最省事。
against
Assistant一般不给的。但是，因为你超速不超过10迈，好像你第一次可以不计点。
你也可以找律师，他们可以帮你改成non-moving violation。也就100的律师费。
北卡的罚单很无赖，除非你坚持non-guilt，并且赢了，那188的上庭费少不了，相比来
说，别的罚款律师费都是小钱。

速的官司很难打赢，因为测速仪没有问题。改成non-moving violation，就不用交188
的上庭费+15（speeding）吗?

律师输了，你自然要交，律师费也不会还你。但是这几乎不能发生。
2.改成non-moving violation, 你的费用也一分不会少，只是不会计点，不会给你涨保
险什么的。

总之，你的$188出庭费，无论如何都是要交的，哪怕你不出庭。除非你申请无罪，并赢
了。另外，法庭就是要收你的罚款和你的出庭费，所以很容易给你改成不计点的罚单，
因为律师都有门路。

的律师吗？有推荐的律师吗？谢谢啦！ |

过两天，你就会接到几十封律师广告信，找几个，然后打电话咨询下，看谁更牛。

speeding less than 10 miles will not increase the insurance. so just pay the
fine, no need to waste time to go to the court. |
