FAYETTEVILLE -- The 30th annual Dogwood Festival in Fayetteville is coming
up next month. On Tuesday, festival coordinators announced this year's
headliners. They include country music artist Gretchen Wilson and
alternative rock band The Spin Doctors.
The event's directors say what started as a small festival on the streets of
downtown Fayetteville has become much more.
"I think we are successful every year because we continue to stay true to
our roots and to our community. We don't pretend that we are fancy arts and
crafts festival because we are not,” said Carrie King, the executive
director of the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival.
The Fayetteville Dogwood festival kicks off Friday, April 27 with the Bloom
and Boom party from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. It continues Saturday from 12 p.m. to
10 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission for the Gretchen Wilson concert Friday night is $15 at the gates.
All other events through the weekend are free. | C*****s

有小孩的可以玩 carnival，bouncing houses.....活动地点有点大，有点分散，先看
一下地图。
吃的选择很多，有一条街那么长(有点夸张..........)
最开心的还是年轻人，有很多free concerts,bands (从下午到半夜) | c********r
