But if it appears as ASE short papers, you cannot extend it to submit to
another conference. It is different from a workshop paper. But like other
conference papers, you can extend it to submit to a journal.
You should confirm with ASE 05 PC chairs with the issue.
I know some people paid to extend the length of the short papers to make
their sufficient details included in the paper. Indeed, ASE short papers
