什么背景念cs的我都见过
数学够紧了
多少turing奖得主都是math BS
不过当faculty只有毕业于前10， 在top 20当faculty
才有意义

发帖数: 507 | 2 Honestly, not top 10, only those Ph.D. (maybe just mediocre) from CS top 4
have more chances, for others, still need to be exceptional and work really
hard to get a spot in good CS depts.
This year, my boss is in charge of recruiting new faculty in the field, and he
showed me the resumes of top three candidates he maybe give phone interview. 2
of them are MIT postdocs (Ph.Ds in europe), and the other one is a Berkekey
Ph.D and currently a postDoc at berkeley. Of course, they have excellent top
