包括很多好学校，都没有这个要求。如果你们没有这个要求，别人可能顺手也申请一下
你们学校。现在有了（f），很可能好学生就不申请了。
我建议你争取一下放松这个条款，如果导师出钱，系里没有意见，没有（f）也可以把
学生收进来。这样做你们学校可能更有吸引力一些。

the other materials (GRE, TOEFL,
transcript, certification, etc.) can arrive later. Of course, if a student
misses the deadline for a few days, there
may still be some room for negotiation with the university. In the worst
case, the student can apply for Fall

生材料去认证一下，中间的经费，导师愿意可以出钱支持。这样的话，学校应该没有问
题，学生来讲也不麻烦。

WES certificate (and neither to submit the application with $60 fee for
those obviously unqualified) until he is admitted orally. If I were the
applicant, I would appreciate the extra effort of the professor and trust
her credit. The reimbursement would not be a big problem then.
The only bad things is the deadline is drawing near. Even if there are some
students that noticed this message, they will have to make a quick

transcript first and then
recommend the student to apply only if I'm willing to support the student.
