In this paper, J. E. Hirsch, Dept of Physics, UCSD, proposes "the index h,
defined as the number of papers with citation number higher or equal to h,
as a useful index to characterize the scientific output of a researcher."
Here is a partial list of computer science researchers who each has an h
index of 40 or higher according to Google Scholar. Several websites provide

发帖数: 402 | 9 Exactly true, h-index is a trash index in the way that a paper with 2000 citations should be much better than 100 papers with 100 trash citations.
ISI should re-consider their this stupid simple scheme.
