来描述一下这个学校商学院Ph.D. program名声, Placement等等。商学院的方向大概有
OM, Statistics, Marketing, Supply Chain, Management, MIS, Finance,哪个方向
出来后的工作比较好找,比较有前途啊?还有商学院Ph.D.出来的前景如何?Fresh Ph.
D. 找faculty的职位容易吗?感觉理工科要是要找Faculty职位要读牛校Postdoc, 商学
院是不是也是这样?
谢谢各位了. | s***r 发帖数: 1121 | 2 It has no finance phd program. | s*****6 发帖数: 254 | 3 They have a Business PhD program? That's new.

Other than MIS, I think for the other majors, it's relatively easy for fresh
PhDs to find faculty positions. Actually, Business PhD graduates don't
have an advantage in getting a job elsewhere (other than faculty positions).
All above are just my personal opinion.

Thanks for your detailed response.
But why business PhD graduates do not have advantages in getting jobs?
Why is it easy to find a faculty position? For engineering or science Ph.D.
gradautes, it might be easier to find a job than faculty position and this
might be contary to business graduates. What are the reasons behind the
storyies?
I really hope to hear your comments. Thanks.

skills the employer requires can be obtained from a Master's graduate, so
they will not pay more. You can still qualify for the job, but with a PhD,
do you want to be paid $50K? You would rather get a faculty position and be
paid >$100K.
