是商学院的faculty都要教好多课，我觉得我不喜欢教课，就喜欢research。那可以去
什么research的institute或者其他什么地方做research吗？ |

algorithm or simply data mining) , you need a Ph.D. degree to justify your
research ability.

发帖数: 715 | 6 If you pursue doctorate studies, you would need to spread your idea, present
your work, communicate with a large group of academicians, and convince
some smart people, all of which are closely related to the elements of
teaching. At some stage, you may even find teaching is enjoyable: if you
value your research, you would value your ability of taking good care of
students as well. To conclude, teaching is not a big issue when you decide
whether you pursue acc. phd or not.

发帖数: 295 | 7 I think this makes a lot of sense:) I just got scared seeing my professors
teaching 3-4 hours courses with no rest at all. I am not sure if I am that
energetic :S Maybe you are right, they actually might be enjoying the
teaching.
