s******d 发帖数: 41 | 1 Some programs do allow phd students to get MBA degree. But from what I heard
from B-School phd students, it's not that easy, say when you drop phd
program you get an MBA.
Take ChicagoBooth for example, phd students can get an MBA degree during PHD
years. However, they have to finish all MBA course requirements, many of
which are not included in PHD curriculum and are not covered by PHD's free
tuition. You have to pay for the courses yourself.
I also remember that, if you can't graduate from PHD | s*****6 发帖数: 254 | 2 So, what's your question? Are you specifically asking U. Chicago? Or in
general? Please be more specific. I am not from U. Chicago, so I don't
know much about them. But other schools, it depends. Some school will
allow it, even though they don't encourage it. An MBA is not required to
obtain a PhD.
