月报名开始，就一直学习到考试。
开始的时候看了很多网上的建议，发现网上几乎所有人都推荐notes，就跟着notes学。
但毕竟这方面背景差，看得很费劲。后来一位6月考过的朋友提醒，notes跟真题有差距
，这才把重点放到cfa的教材上，但notes也还是一直有看。
考过来之后的感觉，notes太脱离现在的真正考试，2级，3级不知道，但至少对于1级来
说，notes真的是个鸡肋！建议后来的人，不要浪费钱在notes上！！！
总结如下：
1.CFA从08年开始，教材在报名费里面，目的就是让大家看他们自己的教材，可能是要
打击schweser吧。但发现考生就算拿到免费教材仍然看notes，所以他们出的题目完全
是针对书本的，很多就是书上的一句话，看到就会。这是那位6月考过的朋友的感想，
他当时就觉得CFA好像故意找些notes上漏掉的考点来考。
2.由于CFA教材每年都更新，notes的更新速度赶不上教材，考点遗漏很多，而有些考点
notes又讲的太多太深，没必要。毕竟cfa教材是很多人一块写，notes是schw |

Schuwser好好看2遍，把所有题目搞懂就足够了。Schwser里面有些东西过深，但是做过
模拟题自然就知道那些东西不用去管了 |

不过，这次我是跟其他2个朋友一块复习，一块考的。
考后，我们3人的意见基本一致，觉得notes没有跟上形势。
有个朋友更具体的说，觉得很多概念notes跟书上讲的可能是一个东西，但是提法是不
一样的。如果是学这个出身的，可能没什么，看哪个都能明白。但对于跨专业的人来说
，考试的时候突然换了个提法，虽然是一个东西，还是会发懵的。

去不返啦。12月份的这次考试有很多概念和细节题，只看notes没看书的人肯定是不会
做滴。而且平心而论，书只是内容细节展开的太多了，但是写得比notes好的多了。

，如果大家也是象LZ一样别的科目的背景，那就听LZ的，我个人认为有金融背景的，就
看NOTES足够了。花的时间也少得多，特别是对于在工作的人。 |

发帖数: 1860 | 14 Agree to moumouer. I was engineer background. Used notes only. Passed three
levels on first try. Studied two months for Level I. notes saved me a lot of
time. Of course it cannot cover 100% (otherwise it will be as thick as the
books) but more than enough for passing the exams.

were alreay widely spreaded.
I fully agree notes cannot cover everything. But remember we only need to
get 70% of the top 1% exam takers to pass. If you have a decent maths skills
, as most of chinese do, 15% is covered. Ethics, another 15%, is more like
common sense; ppl get the same score either way. Plus, there is 25% chance
that we can get it ri

topics in a quick fashion.
i took time to read the books too in early stage of prepration (especially
financial statement analysis, ethics, economics), and a couple of hours in
december too, several chapters in FSA was not covered in notes.
Foriegn exchange covered in notes, but no in the books. Forex not tested at
all this time.

发帖数: 174 | 17 看个人背景，更看复习迎考时间吧。我一共就花了2个月时间准备，这期间上班时常加
班，复习时间零零星星。离考试还有2个星期的时候，甭说书了，就notes也只看了一本
，考前告了一个星期假，临时抱佛脚，哪有时间看书。星期五晚上问以前考过的同学怎
么去考场才被告知CFA网上有sample题，匆匆忙忙做了那套免费的，就去了。
考完觉得还行，可能主要是Level 1本来就不难的原因吧。基本上个别题不知道，随便
蒙了一下，回来查了查，也蒙对了，倒是早晨做完120题后还剩半小时，回头检查一开
始比较犹豫的题的时候，把原来正确的给改错了。下午做完题只剩15分钟，鉴于早晨的
情况，也就懒得回头看了。BTW,我自己的PhD偏quant一点的经济类，financial
statement以前学过，7/8年了，也差不多忘得七七八八了。这次重点就看notes book 3
.其他，除了ethics,比较tricky, 一般都是常识。
毕竟考这个跟平时学校考试不一样，目标就是70%，靠太高的话一来没用，二来，觉得花的时间太多非常不值得。 |

过，所以花的时间比较多，有点像准备期末考试的样子去准备的。
其实可能不必这么认真的。
