my understanding is the job functions are:
1. talk to sales and get the idea what client needs, then
create new products which are derivatives basesed.
2. talk to traders to get the market info and try to price
the new product properly.
it requires a lot of quantitative skills.
I was also told that it is relatively easy to move from
structurer to trader, but not the o |
