just read everything that has English on it, street signs, food labels etc.
Some Chinese Church will offer free English classes. Dont be shy, talk to
people in English whenever you can.

but, seems not very practical. How am I supposed to know if 'apply school'is
incorrect if nobody tells me. Find some native speaker friends who would
want to point out your mistakes is the key. I am fortunate enough to have
such friends around.

I find living in a dorm and eating in school cafe is the best to learn a new
language. going to social events, parties on campus, etc.
learning a language means reading and talking. no other way out. |
