My intent is to build a webhosting service for a targetted
market. I will also host some applications for this market,
which are not available from general hosting services, and
also cost a lot to buy off-the-shelf.
Questions I don't have experience:
1. If I set up 4 linux box, but I want to centralize the
storage, so I can easily backup databases and system,
how to do it? I heard something about MAN, is there any
opensource for it?
2. What's the cheap solution (maybe free) for backup

NFS, or remote database access.
tar
make sure their domain names point to your servers' ip,
then set up virtual host for your web server.
