opp bid my suit. a takeout double doesn't seem right
for the singleton DA and doubleton CJ4.
i chose 2H, all pass. got another poor score. |

1. is it invitational, forcing, or non-forcing? p will have a hard
question.
2. is the hand that strong? you have 16 points. the CJ isn't a good point.

2 2H seems ok, pass might not be as good as 2H.

was worried that p may have a minimum with only 1 spade stopper.
anyway, on that board, 3d or 3nt both make. 2s also makes.
i did bid 2h and p passed. however, half of the tables reached 4H...

and you still can make 2nt.
that's partner's problem, not your problem. partner should have raised you.
