2) 5c is not a logical bid, it is a random bid.
my opinion, 1S 4H is the good bid.
if his hand is
2812, he should open 4H and that will be the contract, probably.
if he is 2713, 5D is kind of over bid for the given hand.
5c is not even a bid, unless you have some strange systems.
anyway, even 5H is not a bad contact.

1. Your sequence should promise more HIGH CARD value instead of just
distributional value. In the given auction, 5C is an enterprising bid.
2. not forcing, of course.
3. no, if you don't play Namyats, it shows a good hand with independent
heart suit and below jump shift value.
You should have committed to hearts immediately.
Because when you have game value (shown by your 4H raise) but not committed
to the game immediately, there are only 2 logic conclusions: 1. you have
interest beyond game. o
