your trump strength with your side suit strength. If you have weak trump and
fast tricks in oppo's suit, you want to play trump to maintain control; if you
have a fast running suit but slow tricks in oppo's suit, you want to play 3NT.
Here you have good spots in trump and doubleton in oppo's suit, it favors you
to play 3NT if partner has involved you to a decision. But partner actually
did not, you just don't have any

is right, but with doubleton, i can ruff pd's spade loser.
Why pd bid 2N to invite after my raise? He may have weak trump, thus ask me to
help to decide.

Another problem related here is if 3D is GF, accepting invitation or simply a

What if N has only one control in S or C? It's possible that W-E can get
4 Ss or Cs and an A on H or D and make you down.
If you play Shuang1 Ren2, it worths passing 3NT for the extra 10 points.

suit contract -- precisely my point in my previous post -- say, you have a
weak H, JTx, even 3 spades, xxx, do you want to play in 3NT or 4H??
The upshot is generally, you don't bid NT because your trump is too garbage --
in that case, 3NT won't be too much better, you don't have other sources of
tricks, and you don't have timing to set up your weak suit -- his hand is
simple to bid, after surviving the underbid of 2NT,

r = M/(age-30)
whereas M is the masterpoint holding. Don't play with anyone with a ratio
lower than 100. You can play with people with a ratio between 100 and 300 but
don't expect too much. Players with ratio higher than 500 is in general
trustworthy.
This only applies to players learning the game in US, and is rough, of course.
But the idea is, for a people at 40 (young in US), if he's not yet a silver
