however, u may lose two trumps as well by playing queen.

Playing SQ, if we isolate spade suit, is optimal for 4 tricks.
Assuming KJ654 outside, when RHO holds

Playing SQ from hand will get you 4 tricks.
However, I highly suspect the lead is a stiff. Still, playing Ace then small
spade to the hand, trying to "kill the ruff", only gains when RHO holds
specifically Kx(totally 3 cases, let's forget about those too horrible 4-1 or
5-0 breaks).
Therefore, I play SQ from hand.
