Of course, if you are 100% sure that West has DQ, you just ruff all your clubs
and throw him in using DQ. But can you? He might have 6 diamonds like JT9xxx
and overcall 2D. Some people do that.

W has SQTx H- DKJxxxx, CAKxx
W can win 2 S tricks with QT, then play the last S out to make you down 1
Also, E can possibly have SAxxx, Hxx, DKx, Cxxx
while W has SQTx, H-, DJTXXXX, CAKQx, (W is more likely to have CQ than E,
since he played CK then CA after seeing the dummy has CJxxx)
then using DQ to throw in W would not work.
After all, you always face the same dilemma - to finesse DK or to throw in W
with DQ.
