The death of Bobby Goldman was a shocking and sudden loss to his family
and
friends and to the sport he loved. This was a loss to virtually
everyone
with whom he came in contact.
Bobby and I met in early 60's. We have interacted as friends, business
associates, teammates, and opponents ever since.
Our first major encounter was in the finals of 1966 Vanderbilt.
Bobby joined The Aces in 1968 (he was one of the five original
members of the team).
