危险的；NJ医生说必须打，去了啥也不要说，就让他打。NM一帮官僚，没人关心病人，
光顾赚钱。
能推荐个绿卡体检的么？

as you are not showing signs and symptoms of active TB, all you need a chest
x ray to prove you don't have active TB. That's all you need.
Remember, once you have a positive PPD, you can never get another PPD skin
test in the future. |

you just need a booster shot. |

another PPD test.
The negative PPD is definitely no active TB. Since postive PPD doesn't mean
active TB, it is OK to have a chest X-ray to
make sure there is no active TB.
The purpose of those procedures is to make sure you don't have active TB.
Since TB is latent, and easy to get provoked, some states or agences require
to take
Rafampin, INH etc. for positive PPD even you have clear chest x-ray.
Dr. Bostonturtle, please correct me if I am wrong. I am not sure if States
or agencies can make their own decision regarding TB INH or Rafampin

发帖数: 913 | 15 理论上是如果PPD 阳性就永远阳性，但是有假阳性，所以重新做个好。我的TB test 以
前是阳性，居然有一次测成阴性。怀疑护士读错
以前阴性的话， 不知道最近有没有感染TB， 所以要再做。
Some persons may react to the TST even though they are not infected with M.
tuberculosis. The causes of these false-positive reactions may include, but
are not limited to, the following:
Infection with nontuberculosis mycobacteria
Previous BCG vaccination
Incorrect method of TST administration
Incorrect interpretation of reaction
Incorrect bottle of antigen used

exposure to the PPD skin, there is a possibility of skin necrosis. That is
why we tell patients once they have a positive PPD skin test, they can no
longer have another PPD skin test in the future. You just get chest x rays.
Nobody is going to force anyone to get treatment for latent TB (positive PPD
, negative chest x ray). The decision to get treatment or not ultimately
rests with the patient. |
