them. But I don't know if NY would report to MA. I'd appreciate it if
anyone can clarify this.
For suspension, it's different. There is a system for the states to report
any suspension of license (it's required by law if I'm not mistaken); and
most states will suspend the violator if reported. There are some
exceptions regarding this too. For example, NY doesn't suspend drivers for
violations in Alaska, California, Michigan, Montana, Oregon or Wisconsin.

your driving privileges in Massachusetts as well. Both states are part of
the Non Resident Violator Compact (NRVC) that requires member states to
suspend the license of a driver that does not comply with an out of state
ticket by paying the fines associated with it or otherwise take care of the
ticket. So most likely your MA driver's license will be suspended if you
choose to not pay the NY assessment

feeling NY ticket will affect your MA insurance if insurers can get your
out-of-state violation record from RMV MA (very likely as there are quite
a few driver records sharing programs existing). I just want to verify if
MA does get the info about your NY ticket. That's all.

06年在从buffalo回来的路上，在纽约上州一个叫做滑铁卢的地方，被一个cop截了下来，超速，65/79，回家后因为地方太远，于是认罪伏法。9个月以后受到一张罚单，250大洋，如数上缴。
后来和insurance agent沟通，得知NY除了DUI以外不和其它州联网，一般的violation只和加拿大的两个地方互通有无，所以放下心来。之后换了若干家保险公司，一直案底清白无误点。
不过这是06年的老黄历，不知道有没有变化。

with how NY treats out-of-state violations.

NY ticket.
If you get a moving violation, no mater wherever you get it, fight it by
all means, or at least pay the fine if you can't win.

不交也可以，以后在CT的范围内最好不要开车，捉到很麻烦。
所以交了，在麻州的保险没有影响。 |

报到其他州。但麻州是既不报也不接受外州的。 |
