Any thoughts about Hudson? Looks like with same cost it is possible to get
better acreage there and also better view (woods, etc). But it is a very
small town, with only ~20k people living there. Not sure of the school there
as I have several little kids.
The tax issue is a major consideration as it is possible to save from the
non-salary investment income.
Yes, route 3 and 95 conjuction area seems to be quite slow definitely. I

过河，又要加10-20分钟

would guess. One of the major factors is still the housing price in MA which
is quite high as compared to NH.

renting it should not make much difference after counting in the cost of
commute. I may rent for a few month, but will be looking to have a home
because I do have a big family.
Also, if my wife finds a job locally, that will save some tax there, plus
the investment tax.
Anybody living in MA go to NH for shopping regularly?

，房产税高，餐馆税高。。。 不过NH总体没有MA那么打挤，MA比NH要社会主义不少。
。。North MA-NH还是有发展前景的。。。。 |

no income tax, if you also work in NH. If work in MA, still have to pay MA
state income tax.
no state capital gain tax, 适合炒股。
kids 上私利学校。A lot of chinneswe parents send kids to private schools
even though live in good school disctrict. |

I will be relocating to this area in summer but certainly not familar with
the locals. My vague impression tells me that NH has overall good education
, but was surprised by the so-so schools in Nashua and Hudson. The housing
in Hudson looks tempting, but without good schools this does not mean too
much. I have three little ones (oldest will go to Kindergarten this year),
so public schools probably the best option.

(North west to Nashua) and Londonderry (North east to Nashua) all have very
good schools. You can send me an email to mitbbs account, though I'm not an
expert on MA school system. And there is always a balance between good
schools higher house price and not so good schools lower house price.

was just talking about schools, not the price, I believe. BTW, you have to
tell what's too expensive, because this is really subjective.

In general, a 4 bedroom house (~2500sf) in Nashua is in the range of $500K.
Same house in MA's good town like Acton is ~$700K. In Westford is about $
600K.
If you have $800K to $1M and from CA, you can buy MA house without any
problems.
So, when looking for help, you need to share your information.
When speaking about school system, this year (I only heard from this town
since I have many friends there) in Acton, about 6 kids accepted by MIT, at
least 2 from Harvard, and more top sc |

a midwest town where the average home price is ~200k or less. I am only
able to afford a ~300k home at this time without stress. That should give me
slightly better life quality in Nashua area than MA I guess. Any northern
town in MA has home price at or near this level? I checked the school
rating and it seems most if not all the top ones are in those towns with
sharp prices. May have to rent for a while and

space around so kids can have a playground ...but I think Townhouse may be
an option too if we can identify a reasonable town.

bicentennial elementary school district in Nashua?
Also, any recommendation on a good PCP? I use blue shield blue cross. I have
several kids so experience with pediatrics will be good.
