plenty of boat for hire in gloucester (rockport) or cape cod. here is a link
for a boat docked in boston (near aquarium, you can go take a look), i did a
harber cruise on it last 4th of july, good experience, nice and clean boat.

dollars an hour. and i don't think you need a special license to operate.
but if you want to rent one on the ocean, things could be different. first
of all, i think you need a much bigger boat, and regulation on those might
be different.
another alternative, you can do sea kayaking at gloucester as well, there
are 2 person kayaks. a 2 and half hour guided trip cost 30-35 (last year
