Lab technician/ Research Associate/ Scientist I (title will be determined by
the experience)
Major Responsibilities/Activities
- Histology
• Printing of tissue cassettes
• Sectioning of tissue
• Grossing of tissue
• Embedding of tissue
• Performing Routine, Special and Immunohistochemical Stains
• Cover slipping slides, manual and automated
• Filing slides
• Printing slide labels/box labels
• Packaging of Blocks and slides
- Image Analysis
• Quality Control
• Scan slides and enter data
• Upload images and maintain image files
• Complete or produce study reports as required
• Graph and track digital data points for studies
• Burn images and data to external drive
- General Laboratory Duties
• General lab upkeep
• Stocking of supplies (In lab & procedure rooms)
• Washing of lab materials
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, majored in biology or related fields.
Experience with histology is a plus.
2. Must be a reliable and responsible team player.
3. Must have excellent organization and planning skills and the ability to
work under timeline in a fast-paced environment.
4. Fluent English and good communication skill.
